Silhouette Photography
One form of photography is silhouettes. A photograph that involves silhouettes has a dark subject and a light background. The subject is all black with no details. To take a photo with a silhouette, there must be some sort of light source behind the subject to create the light needed to make the silhouette. It is important to not point your lens directly at the sun, because too much light will put light on your subject, and too little light will make the background appear grey. Considering time of day, weather, placement of subject, and placement of the sun are important to taking a good silhouette photograph and will help you to have the best results.
